Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Chris Tina Bruce Fitness handles information on ChrisTinaBruceFitness.com. I am in Dallas, Texas. Questions: chris@christinabruce.com.

1. Scope

This covers this website only. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Threads have their own policies once you leave.

I control the personal information collected here. This site has no member login, checkout, or client health portal.

2. Information I collect

  • Email. If you write chris@christinabruce.com, I receive your address, message, and attachments. I use them to reply.
  • Comments, if open. WordPress may store your name, email, website, comment, and IP address.
  • Server logs. IP address, browser, pages requested, date, time, and referring site. Used to run and protect the site.
  • Cookie choice. A first-party cookie named ctbf_consent, plus local storage. It stores your essential, analytics, and marketing choices for about 6 months. It is not an ad tracker.
  • Analytics or marketing. Loaded only if those tools are connected in site settings and you accept them. They are not connected today.

I do not collect medical records, hormone doses, or card numbers here. Do not email health details you want kept private. Training content is not medical, hormone, or surgical advice.

3. Cookies

Type What it is Consent
Essential ctbf_consent for about 6 months. A short security cookie. A comment cookie only if you ask WordPress to remember you. Always on. The site needs these.
Analytics Google Analytics 4, only if a measurement ID is saved. Off until you accept.
Marketing Meta Pixel, only if a pixel ID is saved. YouTube and Instagram can also set cookies if you play or interact. Off until you accept.

You can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or open Cookie settings. Change that choice anytime from Cookie settings in the menu.

Video embeds use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player until you accept marketing cookies. Instagram and Facebook links leave this site.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, I treat that as a do-not-sell-or-share request and do not load marketing cookies.

4. How I use it

  • To reply to email and comments.
  • To keep the site secure.
  • To remember your cookie choice.
  • To measure visits or run a pixel only after you accept, and only if that tool is connected.

I do not sell personal information. I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I do not rent lists.

5. Who else receives it

  • The host serves the pages and keeps logs.
  • Google may process a YouTube embed, and Analytics data if you accept analytics while that tool is on.
  • Meta may process pixel data if you accept marketing and a pixel is on.
  • Email providers handle messages you send.

I may disclose information if the law requires it, or to stop abuse. I do not give training emails to advertisers.

The site is operated in the United States. If you visit from somewhere else, your information is processed here.

6. How long I keep it

  • Cookie choice: about 6 months.
  • Email: while I need the thread, then deleted.
  • Comments: until you ask me to delete them, or I remove them.
  • Server logs: for the host’s normal security period.
  • Analytics, if enabled: the shortest retention that tool allows.

7. EU, UK, and EEA

Consent covers analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw it in Cookie settings. Withdrawal does not undo processing already done.

Legitimate interests cover essential cookies, security logs, and a reply to a message you sent. If you email about training, I reply because you asked.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of information you gave me. I respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

8. California and other US states

I do not sell personal information. I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I have not sold or shared personal information in the past 12 months.

California residents can ask me to know, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Cookie settings, then “Do not sell or share,” records that opt-out and keeps marketing cookies off. I will not discriminate against you for asking.

Information that may be collected: identifiers such as email and IP address, internet activity in server logs, analytics only if you opt in, and the content of messages you send. Sources: you, and automatic logs. Purpose: reply, secure the site, and remember cookie choices. I do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Email chris@christinabruce.com with the subject “Privacy request.” I may need to confirm it is you. An authorized agent can write if you give written permission. You do not need an account.

Texas residents can use the same email for access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies.

9. Children

This site is for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child sent information, email me and I will delete it.

10. Security

I use the host’s normal protections. I do not store card numbers or hormone records here. Email is not end-to-end encrypted.

11. Changes

If I add a newsletter, paid plan, booking form, or analytics, I will update this page and the date above. Non-essential tools stay off until you accept.
